This is a SALE you never expected...

(First, sorry to those of my friends/customers I wasn't able to tell personally about this sale.)

Knit 1's biggest sale ever, in fact we're selling the whole store! That's right, Knit 1 is for sale! If you've ever dreamed of owning your very own yarn store then this is your chance. After 4 years we have to move on, other opportunities await though it's not without sadness that we make this announcement. We're hoping someone or some bodies will be able to keep Knit 1 alive for those of you who have cherished it as a space you've considered your own.

Classes

February and March Classes

Beginning Knitting

Sunday Mornings 10AM - Noon -

Session 1 Feb. 5, 15, 19 and 26

Session 2 March 4, 11, 18 and 25

$125 includes materials
This class teaches you the basics in 4 two-hour classes. Scarves, baby blankets and hats are some of the projects students have completed in class.

Socks

Tuesday Evenings 6:30 - 8:30 - Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28

Learn all the skills needed to make a sock: knitting in the round, shaping, short rows and grafting. You will complete a sock during this 4 week class.

$85 includes your pattern. You will need to buy or bring your other supplies.

Beginning knitting skills required.

Inspira Cowl Tutorial

Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30 March 6 and 13

If you love color and would like to learn how to do colorwork in your knitting, this is the perfect class. This beautiful garment is knit in the round in two color ribbing. You will learn stranding and how to knit holding a yarn in each hand.

$40 does not include supplies

De-Mystify the Cable

Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30 March 20 and 27

Learn all the skills needed to knit cables: how to read a chart and a pattern. How to knit a cable with and with out a cable needle.

$40 does not include supplies

Learn to Crochet - Make a Cowl!

Saturday Mornings 10-noon Feb. 25th, March 3 and 10

Learn the basics of crochet and make a cowl. There are 2 versions - chunky and light. Beginning supplies are included but not the yarn, hook or buttons for your cowl.
$75 with beginning kit

Knit Clinics

Monday evenings 6:30 to 8:30.
Do you have a project that has confounded you? A garment or item that you have always wanted to make? A knitting technique that you want to learn? Come to Knit Clinic!

Knit Night is every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30
KN participants receive 10% off yarn purchases.

Open Knitting
Every Sunday we offer open knitting time where you can come and get help with your project. If it's really busy we won't be able to offer extensive help, but that's why you only pay $10!

We also offer private lessons at $30 per hour by appointment.
