We are offering a one day class with knitwear and crochet author, Judith Swartz titled

Freeform Design with Crochet Motifs

The focus of this class is to explore a variety of crocheted motifs, then to combine them in an unconventional way to create a freeform, one-of-a-kind scarf.

Basic crochet knowledge is required.

Materials:

Chunky weight yarn-- for example Misti Alpaca Chunky, approx 300 yards

Appropriate size hook -- for Misti Alpaca, "K"

Approx 2 yards muslin or old sheet to lay out motifs

Safety pins for basting

Yarn needle

We have a great selection of chunky yarns, including Misti Alpaca in many colors. But you could also use the new chunky Noro, Hitsuji or the most luxurious Noro Nadeshiko!
